Silesian Beskids: Wisla Glebice > Wielki Stozek > Kiczory

I started my walk to the peaks of Wielki Stożek and Kiczory from the place where the green trail leading from the Vistula Glebice separates from Zjazdowa Street. This is where a private, paid and small parking lot is located. I parked my car there, and by the way saw a large, black and white rooster named Caesar that guarded the property. Tip: Caesar is quite a character and it's better not to approach him.

The first section of the trail was a road paved with concrete slabs. Over time the trail turned into a wide, medium-steep, forest alley. Visibility at the beginning of the trail was limited, but the higher I climbed, the more opportunities I had to admire the scenic. I got to the Stozek mountain shelter after just over an hour. This is the oldest shelter in the Silesian Beskids, in 2022 it will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Not only tea with lemon tastes great here.

From the shelter, along the same green trail, I continued towards the Kiczory peak. The route from the shelter to Kiczory was very easy, because the half-hour Polish-Czech border trail ran along the wooded ridge of the massif, and there were no ascents nor descents. Walking to Kiczory I also stopped at the vantage point, from which I saw a large part of the Czantoria mountain range and the na Stozek mountain shelter.
