Antidotum air show Leszno
Last Friday, we went to Leszno city for the Antidotum Air Show. The organizers claim that it is the best air show in Poland. Indeed, although the lineup of participating teams may not have been the most impressive, it is difficult to compete with the air show in Radom city in this regard. However, the nighttime portion of the show created a unique atmosphere. Suffice to say that on the first day I took several thousand photos, filling up memory cards for the first time in years! Among so many pictures, there are quite a few exceptional shots that are special to me. I captured the sunset breaking through the cockpit of the taxiing Zelazny team aircraft, a helicopter hanging upside down, flares being launched from a Hercules C-130 and a Eurocopter AS 532UL Cougar, and even a Fiat car suspended beneath a helicopter! Extraordinary photos also include an L-29 Delfin jet landing on a grassy airstrip, a series of pictures featuring the Swiss PC 7 TEAM, and, finally, paragliders from the Flying Dragons Team dancing amidst fireworks, as well as the Aerosparx planes. Among the pilots at the event were Luke Czepiela, one of the best Pole aerobatic pilots, who showcased the aircraft on which he landed on the Burj Al Arab hotel platform in Dubai, and Felix Baumgartner, who broke the record for the highest manned balloon flight, the highest parachute jump, and the fastest freefall speed several years ago. I still remember the TV broadcast of that event, so it was even more exciting to see Felix live!
