Bieszczady. Przelecz Wyzna -> Nowa Chatka Puchatka
On the second day of our stay in the Bieszczady Mountains, rain was forecasted, so we had to give up on longer trails. We only went for a short walk from Przelecz Wyzna (mountain pass Wyzna) to Polonina Wetlinska, to the new Chatka Puchatka (shelter that is themed after Winnie the Pooh). The shelter has been completely renovated and is now much more modern, and you can also stay overnight there. Hovewer those blue portable toilets outside... couldn't something be done to cover them up, so they don't stand out so much?
If you are planning a similar hike, remember that in the Bieszczady Mountains it is not always possible to pay by card. It's worth having Polish złoty in cash:
* Parking fees apply and usually cost around 20 or 30 złoty for the whole day.
* The entrance ticket for an adult to the trail costs 9 złoty.
